Karina Brez Denies Sheena Monnin Claims, Role in Miss USA Scandal

Karina Brez, the reigning Miss Florida title holder, is speaking out and denying the allegations lobbed by former Miss Pennsylvania Sheena Monnin this week.
Specifically, that Brez found out Miss USA is rigged.
Monnin is now being sued by the Miss Universe Organization over her accusations, which stem from Brez's alleged discussion of seeing a list of the five finalists before last week's pageant even took place - which Brez denied.

Sheena Monnin claims Brez said she saw the list of the final five, but Miss Florida claims what she saw did not reflect the big Miss USA winner(s).
"Looking back, it's definitely a rehearsal list, because from the names that I read off that sheet, it wasn't even the top five," Brez told E! News.
The pageant's eventual winner, Olivia Culpo, wasn't even on it, she adds.
"It was nowhere close to what [Monnin] is saying, so her claims are incorrect ... I know that I made the comment out loud saying something about a rehearsal list backstage ... maybe she assumed that I said a fact, [while] I said it jokingly."
"I honestly don't even remember speaking to her ... I feel bad at how this has been handled ... [Monnin's] been taking it just way too far."

Jennifer Lopez Shoots Down Engagement Rumors

Jennifer Lopez is a really big fan of boyfriend Casper Smart. She believes he's a good egg.
But that doesn't mean the singer/American Idol judge is ready to walk down the aisle for a fourth time, regardless of any bling that may be on her finger. After all, remember the refrain from a certain 2002 J. Lo single?
"Rumors!!!" Lopez wrote on her website Friday of chatter that she and Smart were engaged. "Don't be fooled by the rocks that I got."

Lopez and Smart got together last fall, and their relationship has only heated up since, both personally and professionally.

Smart, in fact, will anchor an upcoming reality show that follows around Lopez and her backup dancers during their world tour.

Is there anything sadder than when pretty people break up? Leonardo DiCaprio and Blake Lively are kaput after about five months of globetrotting togetherness, their reps confirm to Us Weekly.

As per standard Hollywood split protocol, they "remain

friends."

Word of the bust-up comes a little more than a month after the starlet, 24, trekked to Australia for the weekend to see the A-lister, 36, on the set of "The Great Gatsby."

That journey was the latest in a long line of frequent-flier-accumulating trips for the twosome, whose hot and heavy romance kicked off at the Cannes Film Festival in May and included stops in Italy, Santa Barbara, New York, Los Angeles and Disneyland.

And by most accounts, Leo and Blake seemed to be getting serious, with the actor reportedly impressing her dad with a comic book-related gift, and pals gushing that they're "so smitten, it's crazy."

One insider even predicted an impending engagement, a bet that we hope didn't have money riding on it.

Lively, however, isn't sitting home playing "Titanic" over and over again. Seems she has been seen in the company of her "Green Lantern" co-star, Ryan Reynolds.

According to the Boston Herald, the pair took the train together from New York to Boston over the weekend (the actor is filming "R.I.P.D." in Beantown), and they were seen dining at a local sushi joint.

Jennifer Lopez and Enrique Iglesias along with Wisin Y Yandel announced their summer tour yesterday. JLo called it "historic" which I guess is why she commemorated the occasion with her backup dancer Casper Smart. She held his hand upon arrival at the presser. And why not? You don't actually think she'd go on the road without him, do you?

Please.

Casper will get a job. He'll either be dancing or he'll be supervising the dancing. And she'll make him the creative director of the concert dvd or something. That way the promoter will have to pay him. AND he can propose to her onstage on her birthday.

But she's wearing the sh-t out of that dress, non?

One big motivation for Nikki was apparently to dispel all those rumors of a bond between her and Twilight star, Robert Pattinson.  And she’s surely done that. Rob and Nikki had their time, but that’s way over now. If Nikki lands Paris, she’ll never look back.

An interesting explanation of Britney Spears walking off The X Factor set Thursday has emerged in a new report on TMZ: She did because she can.
The show wanted Spears so badly, they literally gave away the candy store ... well not literally, although she could probably buy a candy store.
With a deal paying her $15 million for one season, Britney is raking it in, and that's not even all. Her contract basically gives her carte blanche.

Spears has the right to do things during production that are not "normal," insiders say, and that includes taking breaks whenever she feels like it.

As one source put it, "Simon is a shrewd businessman who knew Britney could make his show and he was willing to give her just about anything."

Yesterday, Britney walked off the set during the very first taping, leaving behind an empty judge's chair while four contestants did their thing.
Sources connected with the production say Britney was "overwhelmed" and left. She sort of denied this on Twitter, but would anyone be surprised?
People who were at the taping claim she was upset by the audience reacting negatively to some of her comments, then abruptly peaced out.
